Tim had the I Hate Tofu and the Mushroom Medley the last time we went, and he said they were great. Tonight's special was a different mushroom taco (they called it Mushroom 2.0), which he liked even better than the mushroom medley.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Omnis I think my family and your family subscribe to the same newsletters.
Oh, HELL yes. From here: [link].
I think I need to plan a visit to see Teppy now. The duck taco sounds amazing.
I have a strawberry blueberry crisp in the oven for a family gathering tomorrow.
omnis, you have all my sympathy. I had to block out a bunch of relatives on facebook this week because I just can't take it anymore.
i'm thinking of asking for a list of the bad that will happen. I have no clue what has prompted her to resume sending this crap. I'm guessing retired life has afforded them the time to jump down the rabbit hole of craxy.
I have no words for relatives and in-laws like that (and I have both). Just eye rolls. Don't feed the energy creature!
Wow. I have to say that the triple antibiotic and bandaid adhesive info blew my mind. I never even CONSIDERED that, and both are strong possibilities (especially since polymixin is a sulfide, apparently, and I'm allergic to sulfa). That could explain why it takes so freaking long for anything to heal... Revelatory. Seriously, thank you. And the skin dissolving thing is what happened to me yesterday. That shit is no fun. I'm trying a different brand of bandaid tonight because the alternative is sleeping with the pain of no skin again, and I just can't. I cleaned it but did not use antibiotic cream. Crossing fingers it's not worse tomorrow. Definitely time to get a referral to an allergist.

I strongly advise you against this course of action.
Just got back from a night out downtown at a very tasty place called SoBou. If Mr. Scola is around, that's the place where our mutual (non-Buffista) friend is the cocktail manager! She wasn't there tonight though, she's in Kentucky at Bourbon Camp. Ate some awesome, awesome food and had some very nice cocktails.
Sleepy now.

come to Hartford! We have Duck Tacos (and pork belly, which is not on the online menu)
Thank you so so much for introducing me to him. He's made my life better, he has.
I'm so glad! One comedy toaster for me.
