Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

I feel bad, Will came over and we went to dinner and afterward I was kinda in a mood. So he left. I didn't really want him to leave but I didn't know how to articulate what I wanted and I'm feeling tired and cranky.

And he said maybe he shouldn't try to see me so much while I'm going through this. Which isn't what I want. So tomorrow we have tentative plans to go to Buffalo Wild Wings and watch FSU vs Wake Forest after my needle felting class.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Must be political season. Crazy right wing uncle (well, actually, it was his wife this time) sent me a youtube link with a "You must take time to watch this". It was a video saying that Obama is a secret Muslim, see, he's admitted it in all these speeches. And then proceeded to take snidbits of a dozen speeches to form sentences. They were mostly the speeches he made after the election and before he was sworn in, when he went international, to introduce himself, and try and calm the world to America, and undo the crap Bush II had done. Anyhow. I stopped the video, didn't watch the whole thing, and did a reply all to the email, saying the video was racist, and bush league. And a) who cares if he is a Muslim, 1st amendment says we can be whatever we want. and b) just because he has family members that were doesn't mean he is. And, see point a)!

Ugg. Should know better than to click those, especially at work.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

It's a good thing, I think!

askye- ugh, I hate that feeling- hope you and Will figure out how to navigate this.

Dear Jeebus, she responded with:

I just keep hoping you will be able to see the truth.  If Obama gets re-elected, we will become residents of Texas and hope they do secede. I just have such a hard time believing you can't see Obama for what he is.  Yes, we are radically different when it comes to politics.

Oh, I dunno, an educated man trying to make things right? I swear, it's hard living in my family sometimes. How I turned out as I did is a real mystery.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

seriously omnis? That'd be one family member I'd have to stop talking politics with. Well OK I'd probably couldn't stop myself from pointing out, four years from now, the lack of Sharia laws in the US.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

So now the window is in the cats are happily co existing in front of the bedroom window.

Yay!

Going to see Greg Proops tonight in a local comedy club. I lurves his snarky self, I does.

Thank you so so much for introducing me to him. He's made my life better, he has. Man, he can rant like no one's business.

Oh, askye, that is tough. I hope you find a way to communicate with him and support each other.

omnis, that is... something special. Yeah, I'd be tempted to take notes now and come back four years later. Or make a bet. But that's probably not helpful.

Nora, glad the splint is off! I guess broken bone treatment has evolved. Huh.

I ran errands - got a little distracted, but didn't buy a bunch of extraneous crap, so that's good. And NeilMed bottles were on sale for $2.50 at Walgreens, so I bought two. Now I've showered and fed the cats and put a few things away and cleaned the bathroom sink and toilet and scooped the pans and emptied the trash and made my bed. Next up - alternating doing dishes with putting away clothes until D gets here.

For being sick, I am being pretty productive.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Go you with the fiscal savvy, smonster!

Is Tom worried that he still needs the splint for support or immobilizing the arm, Nora?
