This money, it is too much. You should have some small refund.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh Nora, how scary for you and Tom. Here's to quick healing.

I have an exciting morning planned of waiting for the plumber. I should be doing laundry, but I'm going to hold off in case they need to shut the water off. Some cheap-fix~ma?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Yikes, Nora and Tom! I'm glad you got him to the hospital so it could get diagnosed and treated. Glad it's not a heart attack or collapsed lung.

But Hubby has single handedly raised the survival rate for heart attacks in our county. It's not necessarily the utterly catastrophic thing it could be.

My dad will kick in his FIVE heart attacks, just to raise the survival rate higher.

In re: Hubby's heart, he had a recent cardiologist appointment, and his report on that to me is "I am definitely a middle-aged white man. I ain't got rhythm." They started backimg down some of his drugs a few months ago, and now he's got mad syncopation going on. If putting him back on the drugs doesn't work, it's another visit with Wong, the Buddhist Avatar of Electrocardiology. We are so fucking lucky to have such top-flight people in our rinky-dink little community.

edit: And, of course, yay for no heart issues!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Glad it's "just" broken ribs for Tom and not something more dire!

Scrappy, ~ma for your mom's lungs. Hope it's "just" an infection.

Man, the things we end up hoping for. Talk about the lesser of evils.

Pet rodents, cute. Not-pet rodents, ultra eww.
