Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am very sorry, Sean.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So sorry for your family, Sean, and strength to your friend.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Just back from date three with D. He planned it, and it was pretty much all a surprise, and we biked around the city (well, part of it). Started off with Korean food (nom), then coffee and walking around, then Sleepwalk With Me. Well done indeed, D. Excellent choices. We talked a lot about politics, and relationships, and sex, and all kinds of stuff. It was a little surreal to watch that movie on a third date - I had no idea that it focused so heavily on "Matt's" relationship.

Here's something that surprised me - biking back to my place and talking about the movie, he was the one complaining that the girl character wasn't written to be as complex as she could have been, and I found myself defending the writer's choices. Have I met a guy who is more feminist than I am? I didn't think it possible. We agreed on Lauren Ambrose's performance, though. Absolutely amazing.

Anyhoo. There will be a date four. I invited him in and then kicked him out shortly thereafter, because I'm so damn tired. There was another good night kiss, rather more involved. It boded well, is all I'm saying.

And now we're exchanging relatively witty and flirty banter via text. I do enjoy the witty banter.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Bad news about my friend. He's back on the respirator and only has days to live.

I cannot express how profoundly unhappy I am about this right now.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Sean, that is truly awful. So sorry to hear this.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

My younger cat seems to be sensing the negative imbalance in the pet force. I hate hate hate the smell of cold, seeped in cat pee on my bed :( Seriously considering catheterizing him. This is the first pee on the bed incident since the prozac kicked in. The feliway dispenser is functional and not empty. In warm weather I really can't keep my bedroom shut off unless I want it to be stiflingly hot in there. *sigh* Nature's miracle is drying...but my feather duvet is done in for now. Too many episodes, and this one had hours to soak in before I caught it. Don't know if I should be worried or relieved that he did it while I was out of the house, and not while I was actually sleeping in the bed.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm so so sorry about your friend, Sean.
