ION - I am HAGGLING like a MoFo with the poor gal from Closet World. She has priced out a 94" closet to $1700. I told her I priced out an Ikea option for $500-600. I figured twice as much for custom. I told her if she can get it to $1200, it's a deal. After that, I really don't know. She is on the phone with corprate.

Sometimes I do. This time I am. I told her that my mortgage is $700/mo, you are asking for more than a mortgage payment.

With a AAA discount, they are bringing it down to $1550. Told them I will have to sleep on it.

The sales lady was more amazed that the head office approved it than I was! Wow. I think that is the best haggling I have EVER done.

That mortgage is for 809 sq ft condo. There is also $395 HOA fees per month.

Well, none of my surviving Aunts and Uncles are on FB, my cousins who I friend on FB either don't care about politics (esp. US politics) or don't talk about it, my parents' Canadian friends are all extreme leftists, and Dad's cousin is a former NDP MP who mostly talks about environmental and health issues.

Thrive to spite them

I'm not sleeping well, I have no idea what's going on but it's annoying how bad it is and the klonopin is not helping and I don't think a higher dose would help.

But after therapy today I went to the yarn shop so I can start a new project I'm making fingerless gloves for Dad for Xmas. He said they'd be helpful for when he's hunting and needs to load a shotgun. The pattern K picked for me is based off a pair a female character in Twilight wears. Here's the pattern [link] But I think in the brown heather yarn I got they'll look fine.

They are knitted on double points so I'm also learning something new.
