Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I taped the injured finger to the next finger. Seems good enough for now. And I spiraled the tape so that it won't cut off my circulation if it gets more swollen.
Improvements today to Condo: I have a piece of paper that says I have a new ceiling fan for the dining room. This will get rid of the ugly chandelier, add some circulation to an area of the condo that doesn't get any. It moves a LOT of air. And is energy effecient. It arrives Tuesday, and waiting for installation appointment.
This is what I got: [link]

I am appeased.
World, stop bashing yourself against Hil!
omnis, I like that kind of ceiling fan, the ones that are flush against the ceiling instead of sticking down on a little pole. The latter vibrate too much.

Hey, I'm going to ask a question here that I asked on FB:
Do you, personally, refrigerate fruit like apples, peaches, and pears, or leave them out of the fridge until you eat them?
I am 100% pro-fridge. (Well, I leave UN-ripe peaches and pears out of the fridge, in a paper bag until they ripen, and then they get fridged.) I really like my fruit cold. (Except bananas. Bananas should never be cold for plain eating. If they're overripe and waiting to be turned into baked goods, then they can languish in the fridge. I don't care.)
Fridge/fruit = OTP, man.
Apples I leave out. Bananas I leave out. Citrus depends on how much space I have. I am more likely to remember to eat it if it's in my fruit bowl on the table. But I am more likely to like it if it's cold. Softer fruits like peaches and pears all go in the fridge.
I come from a fridge family, and my apartment has been warm enough that everything but bananas goes in.
Fridges make peaches go all mealy.
No fridge for peaches.
It has never occurred to me to refrigerate fruit. Except grapes, those go in the fridge. I don't eat a lot of fruit, so I generally don't buy more than I'll eat in a couple days.
Which reminds me of the apple and plum languishing on the counter. Guess I eat one of them. Right after I finish this bottle of cider.
