Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Jealous of amyth and Kate right now!

God, I am in a weird mood. I guess it's PMS? I'm lonely and futless and kind of depressed, and I'm still sleeping all the time. I'm missing all the Dykeadence fun, but do not feel like going. BLECCH. I have so much I could be doing, and it can all kiss my ass. Maybe it's also partially from being off all these days? I don't do great without structure.

Jealous of amyth and Kate right now!

Especially since they’re watching the Doctor Who premier tonight.

ACK. Which I will not get to watch until goodness knows when. There's a premier party here, but it's across the river.

But hey! I HAVE INTERNET BACK. So maybe I'll just watch Nikita on Netflix.

Possibly after I take half a Xanax. WTFF, body/brain? This is another time I could really use someone to snuggle me and pet my hair.

smonster, do you have allergies? The pollen count is high here which is making me tired and therefore exacerbating my depression. I don't know if the pollen is high in your area or not.

I'm not allergic to pollen, but I think I am allergic to mold and mildew. So that could be a factor, too. I may need to invest in a dehumidifier at some point.

Dear Ann Romney: DCIS is not breast cancer. It is not invasive. It may a very early precursor to breast cancer. It has a near 100 percent survival rate.

Yes, the MS sucks, but as a person who has really faced breast cancer, I resent your playing that card.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I thought she had breast cancer. So is that a lie too?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Which I will not get to watch until goodness knows when.

We'll likely get it through Amazon tomorrow or the next day, and will invite you for the viewing!

Went out to a beer event, which was fun. I should probably blog.

She had a DCIS lesion and was treated either with a lumpectomy or radiation. The articles vary. Either of those options usually completely prevent recurrence. Because of the increased use of mammograms, doctors are finding more DCIS lesions and it's heavily over-treated. There's a current debate as to whether most types should be treated by watchful waiting, like some stages of prostate cancer.
