So, so sorry, Jilli & Pete.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm so sorry, Jilli and Pete. It's so hard.
I'm sorry Jilli
and great job askye. Being able to face things is really really good

Jilli, I'm so sorry.
{{askye}} and {{Sean}}. I'm sorry these things are so hard.
Happy belated birthday, Strix!
I think he was encouraging me to watch guilty pleasure tv.
I think he's a keeper.
Stay safe~ma to those with a hurricane on their way. This is scary.
And thank you to those who posted their words to me since the last time I posted here. I think we're starting to move on, as a community. Personally, it's mostly feeling like I'm planning a party for her. Things she'll appreciate, you know? Though after ~10 days of dealing mostly with that, I think I need a bit of a break. A bit of the old routine, and getting back to writing papers, not "I remember that about her..." posts and managing the different memorial projects.
~nip to the kitties missing their sage advisory and ~ma to the peoples missing their fuzzy eldest.
All condolences, Jilli and Pete.
Remember the hole in the bedroom floor (and porch). Well. The construction folks have arrived. They arrived 20 minutes ahead of the time I was told. I was still nakie when they rang the bell. Lucky I was sitting when they peered through the bedroom window, so. Whew? Anyhow. 51 days from hole discovery, repair crew begins. Woot? 100 hours have been allocated. 2 guys. Monday is a holiday. They can only work 8 in a day (CA overtime rules). So? I'm guessing they will be done next Wednesday? :: sigh ::
I killed the thread. Crap. Sorry about that.
ION - I made a lunch today, forgetting that the Dean is having a celebration lunch with the summer theater folks, to congratulate us on our first year of Shakespeare in the Park here at work. D'oh!
