Date update: Well. I emailed him yesterday evening to say really good to meet you, how about seeing a movie Friday, and he hasn't replied. Don't know if he's just still recovering from acute nervousness or if he doesn't want to talk/hang out anymore. Oh, well. If I send any more emails, I'll look pushy and weird, so the ball's in his court, now. Que sera sera.

I'm canceling my G2G membership, though. I'd rather take the money and treat myself to something fun.

Yesterday evening wasn't so long ago. I would wait until at least this evening before throwing in the towel. (Obviously, yes, I am just as impatient as you are and would be feeling the same way.)

Ya never know when he goes to bed, how often he checks his email. Maybe he has plans for that night, and is trying to cancel them to spend time with you. Don't throw in the towel just yet!

Yeah, I know... but 17 emails between Sunday afternoon and Monday evening, and then 24 hours after meeting, still nothing... makes me think he found some reason to not want to see me again. And for once, I don't feel insecure and all "what did I do wrong?" I was awesome, frankly. He should be flinging himself at the door howling to spend more time with me. Figuratively, of course.

Yeah, doing that literally would definitely be a check in the minus column.

Validating, though.

And possibly entertaining.

And clearly excellent fodder for future storytelling.

Especially if there is video and/or pictures.
