And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Teppy, when I fell and whacked my head, the bone bruise on my temple took a couple of days to kick in, and it hurt like a son-of-a-bitch. It also ached for a fairly long time after that.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sean, I'm so sorry about your grandmother, and for the rift between you and your dad. It's such a hard thing.

Bone bruise? You can bruise a bone?

Dammit, I can't find the shirt I want to wear today. I need something a little long to wear over cropped black leggings, but not a t-shirt or clingy thing, and I have the perfect navy top, and I can't find it. Or I could wear my new teal t-shirt with a pretty bohemian tie-dye skirt that I haven't worn yet. I don't want to come across all hippie, though.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Well, my head-bruise still hurts today, but not any worse. And I still don't have any other symptoms at all of concussion/TBI. I guess I might call my doctor's office and talk to one of the nurses just to see if there's any point in getting my noggin checked out.

Unrelatedly (well, slightly) -- Zen! We got the book yesterday! I just forgot to say anything in all the concussion. Thank you! I will get to making you cookies in the near future.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Calling your doctor sounds like a good plan, Teppy.

Nicole is threatening to take Belinda with her today. I'm scared.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Hi, Raq! May your travel plans travel well.

Sean, lots of hugs and other warm thoughts for you and for all your family.

Teppy, I am relieved that your brain has not imploded yet.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Sean, I'm so sorry. It's never easy to lose someone you love.

So, I'm back to work. Yesterday was meetings all day, but today is the first day with the students. So far, so good. Except that all the 7th graders in my 1st period class are so scared of drama they all want out. (None of the 8th graders want out. They either took my class last year or they heard about it from their friends and want to be here. Yay!) If they would just stick it out for a week, they'd learn it's not that scary. It's just the fear of the unknown that is getting them.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

If they would just stick it out for a week, they'd learn it's not that scary.

Make a deal with them.

"Stick with me for a week and I'll give you M&Ms.

Two weeks, and we'll talk about s'mores.

Three weeks, and you owe me a Dove bar."

move out and draw fire

But isn't it an elective?

Sean, I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope you can talk to your dad.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Warn me if Belinda is coming to dinner, cause NO. I'll send CJ without me.
