Hi all. I skipped a bunch because I fell way behind (although I did just read about Teppy's head-trauma-drama....
I found out over the weekend that my grandma (dad's mom) has about a month left to live.
I'm kind of not dealing with it right now. She's 95 or so, and had a good run, and she is in pain, so at least that will be over. But my dad and I are still having issues between us (we're kind of not speaking), and I just don't even know how to respond or deal, so I'm just not.
But when I think about it, in the very brief moments that I do think about out, I can't handle it, so I stop.
It'd be a good time to reach out to your dad, Sean.
He, is after all, losing a parent.
I know my Dad didn't cry after his father died until he got home to see me.
Oh, Sean, that is terrible. I'm so sorry, especially that you have added family pain to complicate matters.
Thanks for coming to update us, I miss having you around.
I've been on a real dress buying kick lately, and I finally figured out what it is. I've been watching Gina Torres on Suits looking incredibly fierce and it made me want to step up my game. Thank goodness for Macy's 20% off coupons.
{{{Sean}}} I'm sorry about your grandmother and the family weirdness.
Teppy, I hope it's nothing and the pain stops soon. I would say go to the ER, but if it was me I would probably obsesses instead and continue to do the pupil check. I'm glad to hear someone else does that.
I'm feeling much better after a big dinner with Nicole, Suzi, and K-Bug. Still exhausted though.
Twas a pleasure seeing Nicole, sj, and her hubby. I'm hoping to bring CJ out to hang with the clan tomorrow.
Is it an ordinary thing to get a note from Fannie Mae saying your mortgage was purchased by them?

In this day and age? I wouldn't be surprised to see a note from Wal-Mart saying they'd bought your mortgage.
Sean, this would be a good time to think about reaching out to your dad. I don't know if that is possible for either of you. And it might not be. But losing family is hard and it can make for a way to come together again if you wanted that option.

Seriously if anyone can give her a run for her money, it's you. And I just like the idea that you look fiercer because of Gina Torres. It's sprinkles on top of whipped cream on top of awesome. And fun with drinks.
