Yay Attenborough time!!!!!

Super fun thing about working for 911 in the same area where I live? Today there was a foot pursuit in my neighborhood! I could see from the GPS's in the cop cars that one was parked directly across the street from my house and a sgt was parked 1 hs north of mine. Then I followed the call avidly, because they were tracking w/ a k9 in the alley behind my house which is rife with outdoor cats and very very barky dogs and chicken coops. Apparently the k9 set off the barky barky dogs and then stumbled upon the chicken coop (it was dark). I was almost in hysterics imagining all those officers in that horrid little unkempt alleyway. And very glad that mah kitties are indoors and not being terrified by the PoPo stomping around.

I believe my coffee is broken.

It doesn't wake me up nor motivate me to work.

See, I've never used a bank bill pay system before. Can someone explain how it works? Do they cut her a paper check and mail it? Is there a transfer?

This is what mine does, too. I pay my rent this way, even though my landlords are next door and I could just write out a check and put it through their mail slot, because I'm not always good at remembering when I'm supposed to pay, and so I've got my bank account set up to automatically send a check on the 25th of every month. Also helpful because my online account thing knows that I've got that check going out each month, and so it doesn't count that money in the "amount available" figure that I see when I log on.

I'm feeling a lot better today. I'm nearly certain I know what medicine was causing the nausea, and I'm skipping it today. I had some crackers and hummus for breakfast, and my stomach feels pretty much OK with that.

I forget things. Like paying bills that are due every single month. Online bill pay allows me to function like a responsible adult.

I did what I promised myself I would do! I got out of bed at 6:30 and went to the park, and did some exercise-type things. I'll do it again tomorrow, too, by Jove. (I am so out of shape, it's scary. Holy Zeus, apparently instead of 49 I turned 80. Must get in shape, else I cannot hope to keep up with my energetic friend in London in November.)

Apparently feeling nauseous and dizzy on this medication is something really wrong, because the doctor's office called me in response to my email about it and said that my regular doctor is away, but that I should come in and see a different doctor about it.
