It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

brillig

I would make out with Jensen Ackles in a heartbeat, and he would never have to say a word to me.

Your statement is relevant to my interests, and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The idea of being attracted to someone enough to want to make out with them without having had multiple conversations with them on multiple occasions is completely foreign to me.

Seriously.

And I wouldn't date Lex Luthor.

But I might date Loki.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am the date friends type, I think pretty much all of my relationships involved a prior friendship or at least a lot of interaction before dating. I have dated people I didn't really know first, but they pretty much all ended after 2 or 3 dates.

First day of school, peoples!! Kids went off on the bus, I stayed home and dug through our paperwork to find some crucial files. We are trying to refi.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I would make out with Jensen Ackles in a heartbeat, and he would never have to say a word to me.

Granted, the caveat to my previous monologue is, I've never met Tom Hiddleston.

But I have met several people whose on-screen alter egos I have lusted over, and I didn't feel the same about the actual humans.

Except Peter Wingfield.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've met people for whom it did totally carry over, and boy did I throw judgment (and maybe some underwear) out the window...

Silly ita, underwear goes on the floor so you can retrieve it later.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

The idea of being attracted to someone enough to want to make out with them without having had multiple conversations with them on multiple occasions is completely foreign to me.

and yes, even if i wen to a dating event.

It would be really difficult to tell if I was into someone or not from a the first couple of times I met them - I can't tell. And trying to get out of a situation because someone else though it meant more to me than it d d- horrifying. ( I don't have any desire to be a heart breaker)

It amazes me that I got married.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

it is not as bad as moving, but dating SUCKS.

P-C, the only thing I would add is that if she contacts you again about game night, go, get to know her and others at the event.

But also don't wait around and pine (not suggesting you were, but endorsing), there are other fish in the sea, so find others while not closing other doors.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, the only thing I would add is that if she contacts you again about game night, go, get to know her and others at the event.

This was the plan.

This was also the plan.

Okay, you guys, you WISH you had a sister as awesome as mine. My sister found a Kindle Touch 3G at Target on clearance (they're not selling Kindle products anymore) for $75 plus tax. I had ordered my new Kindle Touch Wi-Fi on Sunday, but it hadn't shipped yet, so...for twenty bucks cheaper, I'm getting 3G. And I was going to send her a check, but when she told my dad, he said it would be a gift from them.
