Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Financially it isn't a picnic, but for one incident, you are probably better off in the long run.

Well, it's only, like, twelve bucks for six months. That's nothing compared to the close to $400 I'm paying since my car's been in the shop for two weeks. I added it NOW, but oof.

Be sure to check hotwire and enterprise and look for rental car coupons. It is summer, but you can still get deals.

The Geico discount was pretty good, about 40% off.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

"Fewer fucks", or "less of a fuck" if you are willing to rephrase. I prefer the second, really.

The status is NOT quo.

Estate planning is stressful but really necessary. We went through the whole process last year so are good now--I'd had a trust independently, but ND didn't have a will or anything. Very glad that has all been dealt with. My parents finally have wills and such in order -- it took me five years of nagging to accomplish, but at least it's done now.

Jilli, ask for recs for a good estate lawyer. S/he will make the process as painless as possible and will know all the right questions. We paid through the nose for ours (complicated by ND's company), but he was worth every penny.

P-C, is this for fixing the damage from the thief? That seems like such a long time!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I asked Princess Dobbycry if she wanted to meet up for pie this weekend. So, you know, that happened. I don't even know if I was ready to hit Send, but it's less traumatic when you are trying to give less fucks! Fewer fucks?

Well, first they had to wait a couple days for the Geico claims guy to come and make an estimate, and then they had to wait for the parts to arrive (I think they had to replace the whole door panel, basically), and then they had to repaint, and then reassemble, and...yeah, thanks a lot, asshole, you couldn't have just broken the window like a normal thief?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Um, hi? Mom? Remember me? The one who spurted furth from your loins lo these 38 years ago with such swiftness that her OB did not have time to get her rings off?

Yeah, you haven't called me today. And I am totally annoyed.
