Thanks for the heads up, Nora. It doesn't feel all that bad yet, but the heat index is predicted to be almost 20 degrees above the actual high temp today. I'll make extra sure to stay hydrated.
Ugh, today is just not going terrifically. Makes me cranky. I feel so slow and stupid. I know beating myself up doesn't help, but boy am I frustrated. I don't feel like I have a benchmark to compare myself against, and so I don't even know where I'm being too hard on myself and where I'm going too easy. Boss is coming by to help me with something.

I wish picking people to vote for wasn't such a depressing exercise. For a superior court judge position, we have the wife of a former sheriff who is in prison for his part in a jail contract kickback scheme versus a man indicted for investor fraud.
