Have you guys seen the Honest Toddler blog/FB/twitter? (I'm pretty sure Glam has.). The posts on sleep are so dead on.

Just got an update from Will:

His niece has preeclampsia. She's okay now but she's got a c section scheduled for tomorrow or Tuesday. Her blood pressure was 200/? (Will didn't remember) when she was admitted Friday night but now it's back to normal. She's 7 months pregnant and so the doctors think everything will be okay after she delivers.

erin, it is absolutely stunning how much pain stress can cause. OTOH, it's kind of a nice validation that you made the right decision. I think about how the day after I got laid off, the acid reflux that made me lose 10 lbs in a month without trying literally disappeared.

So I mainlined Nikita last night - 10 episodes in a row. Stayed up until 2 am, and then my knee was locking up so I stretched a bunch and ended up taking 1.5 flexeril pills. Blergh. Knee feels a little better. I think I need new work boots.

Going to see Beasts of the Southern Wild again in a bit.

I just finished cleaning up a toilet that overflowed due to an innocent child's mistake. then I picked up Sammy, he felt hot, and yes, he has a fever of 100.1. All this really isnt that bad but our house is way hot because I've been cooking and we don't "need" AC in Colorado. (I am totally getting central air when things calm down a bit. That probably means October.)

But, I made Mexican rice, salsa, corn on the cob, chocolate chip cookies, and juiced a watermelon.

I am roasting a ton of veggies, but it's taking approximately forever. I keep adding another 20 minutes and they keep not being done.

Somehow smonster is having dinner at a restaurant recommended by Nora with my friend whose girlfriend just moved to New Orleans recently and found smonster "on the Internet." Apparently I do know everyone.

How old is Rose now? I forget how far apart she and Sammy are.

She was three months on Wednesday, so they're just about three months apart. I hope poor Sammy's fever goes down soon!

Oh, and he's sitting up now, as of a week ago. I just love how one day babies can't do something and then, they just can!!

Woo!

OMG my child will not sleep lately. He was up Thursday (technically Friday) at 3AM. 3EFFINAM! And stayed up until 10AM. Yesterday he was up at 4:30AM. Today we were back to 3AM.

Boo!

Totally jealous of brenda going to see Lucero and smonster going to see Beasts of the Southern Wild. I want to see that so badly.
