Lydia: But you are a vampire. Spike: If I'm not, I'm gonna be pissed about drinking all that blood.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Right now it just plays John Tesh.

Hahahahahaha.

I am one of those who could sleep forever. I think I cannot trust my body when it comes to sleep, because it believes sleep should be in infinite supply. I am trying to readjust my sleep schedule, because I'm still on eastern time...wait, did I say this last trip?

Our wings are not tired

Oh hell yes. We are crazy about that. I can't even email work to myself at home, or to my iPad to use with a PDF annotator. A friend of mine emailed some sample work to a recruiter, got pulled in by Internal Audit, had her entire online life scrutinized (including personal emails between her and her husband) and had to agree to forego her bonus next year.

Yeah, that can be my situation, only as a contractor I'm often under different NDA agreements for all my different clients, many of which are competitors, and I'm the one that has to make the calls on how strict to be with the controls. It gets even crazier when I'm a contractor for company A, who has licensed the use of a property from company B, and I'm the one working with it offsite while also working on a competing property from company C. Ugh.

I'm going to make you forgo your bonus.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, I hope you find some extra hidden spoons.

I found a couple. Well I sent an email about the business that annoyed me so bad and they just want to refund me so I'm taking that as a win. I didn't ask f

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I just bought a couple t-shirts from Eddie Bauer. I am pleasantly surprised at how much better they are than what I'm used to from Target. They're fitted, for one thing, so the fact that I have a waist despite being fat can be seen, so I don't look like I'm wearing a bag with neck and arm holes. Also, I bought a Tall size, and they're long enough and the sleeves are long enough (by which I mean, they come to my knuckles). I am happy.

Well, I sent an email about the business that annoyed me so bad and they just want to refund me so I'm taking that as a win. I didn't ask for that but I did say I was going to share my experience widely. So it was a good call for them.

And the terrifying mail I got from PODS was actually not terrifying because I'd signed all of the documents online. But the paper said I had to return them by 7/29 or no POD delivery. Which, ack! But they were just duplicates and I am good.

I just showered and am sitting down with racing on my dvr and a plastic glass of wine. And a hammered Puppycat who got her first dose of Xanax today. She is not a good first-time stoner (think obsessive drunken toddler on a bad acid trip) ((really)) (((she got onto the counter and it turns out that stoned cats do NOT always land on their feet))) ((((she just tumbled down and rolled it out)))) when I am trying to do things like pack and move around. I think she's okay now that she can plaster herself against me and zone.

I need some new simple shirts. I am not even thinking about it until I've moved. But I do need some.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I bought 3 short sleeve cable knit sweaters at Talbots today. They're having a great clearance sale right now.
