'The Killer In Me'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sending you hugs, smonster

I've decided this week that my new default baby gift is going to be a blue canary nightlight.

You know, to plug into the outlet by the lightswitch.

OMG my husband got me one of those! Made me so happy I tell you what. And now my kids can sing that song, so he also did good culture work there.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I got one for Valentine's day, since that's "our" song and all.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

smonster, I'm sorry you and your sister are going through hard times.

I don't understand the blue canary thing.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The blue canary thing is a They Might Be Giants song. "Birdhouse in Your Soul".

Bitches, do we like this dress: [link]

Sigh - nevermind. Didn't look at the sizes available.

Thrive to spite them

First time I heard this song (which I think was the first time I heard TMBG) I hated it. I bought the tape based on a Sassy magazine review and reading about them and...thought it was horrible. I returned the tape.

I like the song on, but at the time I thought it was weird and dumb.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes for my sister. It sucks to feel powerless, and it sucks that she has been so without hope for so long.

Once again I did that thing where instead of spending an hour focusing (focussing?) on the work I need to do, I tangent off into a rabbithole of internet research which, while somewhat useful, was not the priority. And then I stay up waaaaayyyy too late (12:30, fuck me sideways) and hurriedly spend ten minutes slapping together a document to send to my boss explaining what happened.

OY. In DBT speak - vulnerability high, resiliency low, and I mos def did not use Opposite Action or VITALS. Now, to get what sleep I can.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Aims, that dress is gorgeous; you should get it. And can I just mention how nice it is to see you posting here.

smonster, I'm sorry your sister is having such a hard time of it. So much ~ma to her.

My car is making a weird noise so I made an appointment with the garage this afternoon. Any cheap fix~ma would be appreciated.
