I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I ended up going to urgent care this afternoon for my migraine, because I have a big thing at work tomorrow.

And it turns out there's a good thing I did, because it's actually a sinus infection.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Poor Dana! I hope getting it treated makes it better very soon.

Well, yay for treatment, right?

Yeah, it's good to have antibiotics, naturally, but I haven't had a sinus infection in ages.

I also got a shot for the pain. I like those.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Yikes, Dana!

Speaking of migraines and urgent care, Steph, how are you feeling?

FirstFernet.com compiles photos of people's reactions to their first taste of Fernet. I'm glad there's no photographic evidence of mine. ... there isn't, right?

Uhhh, was it at the Atlanta f2f? If so, there may be video.

Also, as Nora and I proved on fb a couple of weeks back, I make that face every time. [link]

My mother-in-law seems to be convinced that we can't figure out how to look for a job for the husband, so she's currently reading job listing to us over the phone.

It was about 90% better this morning, then there was some recurrence of pain at work, and now I'd say it's 85% better. Which I guess is some backsliding, but still miles better than yesterday.

I'm so glad you're feeling better. Have you gotten acupuncture since starting to get migraines again?

Paging Zen! I don't need to be up tomorrow until 7 am my time, 8 am yours. If you can call me, great; if not, I should be able to drag my lazy carcass out of bed on my own.

I have not, partly because of the $50-a-visit chiropractic appointments for my hips. And partly because the migraines are happening so far apart that I keep thinking each one is an anomaly. OBVIOUSLY NOT. Damn it.

ION, this is an actual sentence I just said to my boyfriend: "You probably wouldn't be so hot at work if you didn't wear velvet underwear."

Is that one of the times you put the phone on the counter and walk away?
