[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So, I bit the bullet and cancelled cable today. ::mourns the DVR:: My budget will be happy, though.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm sorry, sj.

Thanks, all! Been a good birthday so far. By which I mean, I have done nothing at all.

Compassionately intolerant

How's the migraine today, bonny?

Seska, thanks for the check-in. The migraine is not gone, but is more manageable today.

I'm still queasy, but no actual hurling...and the pain is getting worse...which generally means we are coming to the end.

Thankfully, there has been no vertigo, but my system is so touchy, I keep _thinking_ I'm about the go spinny. So, I'm lying on the floor and listening to, rather than watching, some SG-1 dvds.

Cagney knows something is up and was extra reactive when we went to go walk with his buddy Goose earlier. One of Goose's dads walked us home and handled Cagney's leash. Goose is the, paws down, BEST leash walker in the world...as many Greyhounds are. It was a teeny bit validating when M, who is a big 6'4" went wide-eyed over how strong Cagney is. Welcome to my upper body work out!

M suggested I stop in the coffee shop on the way back. That turned out to be a good idea. The coffee milkshake has reduced my headache some...sort of a tall Midol.

I hope this phase passes quickly. I've got stuff to do...and _really_ don't want to do it!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

sj, I'm so sorry for your loss.

M suggested I stop in the coffee shop on the way back. That turned out to be a good idea. The coffee milkshake has reduced my headache some...sort of a tall Midol.

The extremely antiquated migraine med I take (Fioricet) has caffeine as an ingredient (as does Excedrin). It helps quite a bit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you have any fancy sort of Excedrin now, I suggest selling it and buying some heroin or something with your profits.

I'm deeply regretting that I don't have any. Because I loves me some sweet, sweet heroin. (And I'm pretty sure I could buy it on my own street, woo.)

I always assumed that Tylenol washed down with coffee was as good as Excedrin (though in retrospect, I have no idea how much caffeine Excedrin really has).
