It could just be stress. (I'm assuming you're stressed.)
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
And it's not quite nausea. More like feeling too full.
Okay, that's probably not stress.
You mean stress isn't the normal state for humans?
Sean, when I started feeling sick more days than not, I started writing down everything I ate and how I felt or reacted. It took me a ridiculous amount of time to pinpoint lactose intolerance, and I'm still trying to get a handle on my limits (e.g. I missed Prom because I apparently can't have frozen yogurt AT ALL anymore, but didn't realize it until that day), but I feel so much better with a cause I can point at (rather than my brain's panicky worst-case scenarios). Keep an eye on lactose, gluten, etc. to see if you note a pattern. Good luck figuring it out. I hope you feel much, much better soon.

Also, Happy Birthday Week (or Month, if you prefer), Seska! I hope your mid-thirties continue to bring you much happiness.
eta: You guys type way faster than me. So, anyway, I say, "Allow me to re-iterate," then say all that stuff above.
I do usually feel extra burpy/gassy when I get like this, so I am eyeing lactose and/or gluten as the culprit. Plus that's less disconcerting than the other possibilities.
Sean, Epic is right, a food journal is definitely a good idea. Feeling too full could definitely be a reaction to lactose. I hope you can figure it out and feel better soon.
I hope you can figure it out and feel much better soon, Sean. That's worrying.
Wow Cass, I am just checking in and skipped a bunch, but you're moving back to San Diego? I can see that, but also a big change. When would you move?
Actually out to the desert. In three weeks. The desert is close enough to see my dad once or twice a week and far enough away I might have spoons. Maybe. And it's near my mom.

Try going dairy-free (or dairy-light) for a day or two if you can. That was actually how I figured it out - I had a day where I DIDN'T feel sick and that was unusual enough that I went, "Hey, what's different today?" Anyway, good luck.
Happy birthday, Seska.
Why am I so sleepy?
