You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Meara is on it, but I thought with many food banks you can just go in with proof of identity and perhaps some indication of your income circumstances and get some canned food, etc.

I am not sure where you live, but if you google "food bank" and your zip code, you might be able to see options. I don't think you need food stamp eligibility to receive help from food banks.

I think you are probably food stamp eligible though, so you might want to pursue both options.

Thrive to spite them

I think most food banks don't require any proof of how much you make or how little you have or anything like that. You just go and get a box of food or what not.

This is a link to the California Association of Foodbanks and they have a list of member banks [link]

Thanks, everyone. I have fed and am researching food banks and food stamps. And trying to figure out what long term plans might actually make some kind of a life for me (not that I have the slightest clue).

brillig

You're affiliated with the entertainment industry, right? Are there any clearing houses or coalitions that list resources for people with that kind of cyclical income?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

(((Sean)))

Shhh! I'm sneaking online while on vacation! Don't yell at me smonster, I'm weaning myself off.

Oy, what a loooooong day of driving with much traffic. We got here and basically ate potato chips for dinner and faceplanted. Tom's asleep and I'm tapping away on my phone- brings to mind reading after bedtime under the covers with a flashlight.

I can stay up as late as.I want! I'm on vacation!

How are the guys, smonster? Also, totally ewwww on fireworks guy.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

There have been enough times in my life when Chosen Family gave to me because I was in a bind that the times when I do have a bit to spare and there is a need in someone else's life, I want to give out of gratitude - both for what I received and gratitude for what I have.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

The guys are good, Nora! I'm over here right now, watching Justified and doing laundry. Taz is on the door mat, and Marley is curled up in a box.

Sean, my small contribution is going to be delayed because I have to verify a new credit card on Paypal. Unless someone has another suggestion? I could mail a check, duh.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I did laundry in my own washer/dryer today!

I remember that I still got a thrill from that like a year after I got my place.
