I am starving. There is no food in the house, and no money in the bank account until next friday. The last several weeks have been beaufort slow for work. I have tried to stretch my budget to the limit, and now it's gone and I'm not looking forward to not eating for the next five days, especially since I have physical labor I need to do for work during that time. I'm already light headed, because I've been averaging 500 - 1,000 calories a day trying to stretch the budget.

I am happy to help and I will, but can we help you with a long-term strategy? For example, I think you probably can qualify for food bank assistance. If you need any of us to help you research this, I know we would be happy to.

I've not only been there, I'm still there. It's not charity, it's love. If you lived here I'd take you out or bring you groceries, as my friends and neighbors have done and continue to do. I know you are a proud and private person, but sometimes the strongest thing one can do is admit one needs help.
