I Googled "mild numbness in hands."
There are so many reasons that hands can go numb. I'd guess you're more likely having repetitive stress symptoms (you do type a lot, yes?) rather than a stroke.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That was my thought as well, although it was weird because I hadn't actually been typing all that much.
And I have to do a lot of typing this weekend. WORK BETTER, HANDS.
Put Google to good use and look up some wrist stretches you can do to help with that not-at-all-a-stroke numbness.
There are other ways you can impinge on nerves and make your hands numb or tingly, usually based on spending time in odd positions (sleeping or whatnot), too
Is it the arm attached to the shoulder you dislocated, P-C? Definitely some stretching. Look up one where you place your forearm on the wall and then press your chest forward. It stretches the pectorals and releases tension in the shoulder.
Also, thanks for the Nerds@Night link! There's one in Milwaukee in August. I'm contemplating on it.
Bonny, I am so sorry that company doesn't appreciate you more. You're the doggy lama for a reason.
smonster, I'm with everyone else; block him. Very much boundary issues.
ION, Jilli! I know you sometimes wear T's around the house, and while glancing through ThinkGeek.com (Dan's bday is coming up) I saw this and thought "Jilli! Clovis!"

It's both. I'm trying some wrist stretches. Also raising my chair up so my wrists are in a better position I think maybe. Ergonomics fail.
Velcade causes neuropathy! Maybe I've been secretly dosed with Velcade to treat my nonexistent multiple myeloma. Oh God maybe I have multiple myeloma.
Oh, if it's bilateral, you're almost certainly not having a stroke. And the crypto-myeloma explanation seems unlikely
I have run out of Internet. It is too hot to stay in my apartment and do anything, but going anywhere where there is AC requires making a decision about where to go and then passing through the Fuck-You-Feels-Like-111 outdoors.
I am too large to fit into my freezer, which seemed like the best option for a while there.
STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD, DUDE.
NOW.
I'm going to eat lunch and watch Luther to give my hands a break.
