Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

I just meant you may want to open up accts in a new place ASAP so you can be ready to bail as soon as you need to.

good point.

She may be in a grey area, where regulatory remedies are pursued instead.

Yeah, jury is out on this so far. I'm still in this WTF place. Seriously? People can do this and feel that it's not a big deal?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sox, I'm afraid I'm not quite following what the heck is happening with your bank, other than it sucketh mightily for you. I'm glad you have Buffistas on your side.

IOGoodN, full body scan came back on DH--IT'S NOT IN HIS MAJOR ORGANS! Thank the sweet baby Jesus. We can use the break.

This? Makes me so happy.

Thank you all for being here. Daniel should be leaving about now - I was with him for several hours, then came home to recharge my batteries. I'll be driving up there later on.

ION, I haz a purring Harvey wedged tightly between me and the computer.

Our wings are not tired.

How long of a drive is it for you, Andi?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Leaving the present hospital? Or leaving to come back to the previous one?

Also--purring cattitude is the best pick-me-up.

And, he just called me from the local hospital to let me know that they have not yet left to go to the hospital up in the cities. He had just had a dose of pain meds, so he was very groggy. I hate it when he doesn't sound like himself.

The new hospital is about an hour's drive, as far as I can tell.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Wow. A girl goes camping with 53 teenagers for a few days, and y'all pack up and move to a new thread. Trying to tell me something?

Skimmed back over posts from this week, and boy am I behind. Let me start with much YAY for some good news for Maria's DH, despite the existing stress. Also, much -ma for Daniel and Andi and my condolences to Epic for the loss of her kitty. I know there is much more and I will try to add to this soon.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Egad Sox, I admit I only know what's been said in thread, but I am appalled. Also hugely impressed with you, Maria, and le nubian for kicking serious ASS.

I have eaten too much today. Why does grading require snackage?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I have eaten too much today

As have I. There was a procedural error, in which cubed canteloupe was put up in a quart container, rather than several serving containers. Someone had a fork and did not wish to dirty a bowl.

...How much canteloupe is too much canteloupe, really?

Ah but your sins are venial as they involve cantaloupe. Whereas mine involve potato chips.

Ugh, I need to contain my mood. My wonderful husband just took the kids to soccer practice without me, which is nice of him, but it does mean he thinks I need a major mood adjustment.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Today being a day I intended to knock off early, of course I've somehow instead ended up with another couple hours worth of work still, here at 8:30pm. I could do it anytime this weekend, as long as it's done by Monday morning, but I have PLANS for this weekend, dammit. Plans that already included two hours of overtime work. And now I have a headache that's making it hard to concentrate. Or see. Not good.

ita !, work-from-home high-five!
