We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Compassionately intolerant

Picspam to hopefully make you smile:

Cagney's weekend usually features many, many stops for petting. This time, he took a total dive to get this little one to flail at him.

He loves his new toy from Targhay.

We appeared in the local paper (a very nice little piece) and this is the best photo of the two of us ever.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

That's a FANTASTIC photo of you guys!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

All three of those prove that Cagney's where he's supposed to be. The one of you together is just awesome.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That is an awesome photo, Bonny. I love how happy/content Cagney looks.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

So I called in sick today. It was less "sick" than "fuck you for laying off my husband, I'm going to work at home," but regardless, I am at home.

And now I think I'm actually sick. I've been having these weird heartbeats for about a week, which I figure is stress, but since I have an actual heart defect, it seems like I ought to check. My other suspicion is that they're panic attacks, except I don't feel all that panicked. But I got up to chop potatoes and put them on to boil, and after ten minutes I was nauseated and sweaty.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

That sounds like something that a dr ought to check out ASAP!
