I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Biyi: "Bloody Irish peasant!"

Ahahahaha.

The claw broke off, or he bit it off. So I'm just going to watch it for infection. And get the other claws trimmed Saturday.

"Bloody Irish peasant!"

Scandinavian immigrants to the midwest were ridiculed by locals for passing up the abundant beef for overpriced dried fish and yellow potatos. Their kids mostly got over it and turned to steak. So did the increasingly wealthy Scandinavians back in the old country.

A couple of years ago I was in Oslo for a dissertation defense, and the committee was taken to a very nice resturant by way of appreciation. One of the specials was a retro-chic traditional Norwegian meal of reconstituted cod, what passes for local vegetables, and boiled heirloom potatos. As a kid, we called that meal "Sunday dinner," but to the locals it was both exotic and patriotic at the same time. The price was a mere $212.

I went with the steak.

information libertarian

There may be no sadder words in the English language than "reconstituted cod."

Ann, that's a ferret.

Take care of yourself, Vortex. At the least, treat the psychic shock. And RIP, little car.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I praise the company of Saab and their Vortex saving ways.

My college roommate's sister was killed when she was t-boned in an intersection. Nice to know some carmakers were obsessed with saving the humans inside them.

I would rather eat lamb than reconstituted cod.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Hey, Happy Birthday, David! May there be no reconstituted cod at all.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I would rather eat lamb than reconstituted cod.

I will go on record as saying that both the lamb and the potatoes were delicious. (As were the pumpkin and sweet potato.) Ryan enjoyed the lamb too. My son!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Thanks for birthday wishes!

May there be no reconstituted cod at all.

Using my imperial birthday fiat, I declare today to be Reconstituted Cod-less Day!
