Oh yes! Very much so. Already done that with a kajillion documents. Leaves me to wonder, what else is there to sign. Something tells me, everything I've already signed, they will have me sign again, just so the notary can watch me do it... again. Such a voyeur, that notary!
So, the latest kurffuffle. My Credit Union mortgage dept is based in FL. I'm in CA. Escrow lady says funds need to be wired to escrow to close escrow. But it sounds like FL standard operating mode is to wire funds AFTER all documents are signed. So, she's calling them now. The funds are ready and waiting in my account. And I have authorized my CU to wire them. They are ready and willing. Shouldn't be a problem. But. If I learned anything from all of this. Logic does NOT lead the way in real estate. and if they can make it more difficult, they will!

Sure, Beverly! FTR, DW and I use "the Jensen Ackles" to describe cramps. It morphed from us thinking that Jensen Ackles sounded like some sort of disease. Note: We like Jensen Ackles and think he's adorable. Just the name all together sounds very clinical.
