Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Smonster, no more slicing your body parts, ya hear? If your are going to cause injuries on the job, aim for the co-irker.

OK, I got the docuement that was teh complete appraisal, not just the email from the bank with the total. In it were some good pictures of the place! One thing I didn't notice/remember from the two times I was in there, the entry are has ceramic tile, that connects to the dining and kitchen areas. One of the places I looked at last year had these type of tiles in the whole house. And it really helped keep it cool, which is a plus in the warm summer, especially with all the sun light. Hmm. Something to think about. Anyone have thoughts on big ceramic tiles? Is it crazy to think, the possibility of finding the same style and trying to match? Or is that a lost cause, due to wear and tear?

Also, more pictures from the appraisal added to Flickr.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Karl, I'm so very sorry.

~ma, Cash.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am so sorry, Karl.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm sorry Karl. Peace and strength to you and your family.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Cash, lots of anti-cancer~ma for your mom. I'm picturing erika's Raylan-cells making a few stops to have serious chats with the errant colon cells.

{{{{{Karl}}}}} I'm so sorry for your loss. The world is just a little bit less bright and beautiful without your mother in it.

Separate post for less Fuck-Cancer-ness:

smonster, I am glad that you are taking what seem like minor injuries seriously and taking care of them before they cause you major trouble.

omnis, yay on the instant equity. Also, about those tiles - in the pictures they look to be a pretty common color/style - so matching should not be too difficult (unless they are a unique color that doesn't show up in the photo). I did not zoom in closely enough to see if there was significant wear and tear that would make new tile stand out in an odd way. One of the challenges of that kind of tile is that the lighter colored grout can easily get very grungy if it was not well-sealed. The fact that it appears so white in the picture suggests that either it got scrubbed (possibly a steam cleaner) to within an inch of its life, or it is is relatively new.

bonny, I'm glad that the conversation with your friend went better than expected.

Seconded.

omnis, be careful on those tiles, they get very slippery when wet and make crutches tricky, ime. They look like they should be fairly easy to match.
