I'd just like to say that my weekend finished up way better than it started, thanks in no small part to y'all and Strix and Nora in particular. AH LUV MAH BITCHEZ.
fuck that. write random latin on some popsicle sticks and put them in the ground.
For bonus points, use insults and poisonous plant names.
I'm watching Three Musketeers for some distraction. The one with Kiefer Southerland and Charlie Sheen and Tim Curry and Chris O'Donnell and that awful theme song.
Gracious heavens, I had such a crush on Chris O'Donnell. How my tastes have changed.

I did, too, but when I saw this movie, I think I liked Kiefer Sutherland.
Kittens McTavish! /random
I love that cheesy Three Musketeers from the 70s, the one with Michael York. Haven't seen any of the other ones.
That's not cheesy! That's Richard Lester!
Oh, I had such a crush on Keifer Sutherland after Lost Boys. I maybe had a thing for bad boys. Actually, I still have it, but I just know better.
Wish me adamantium claws!
Oh, heck no. Without the special healing powers, they would make a very messy mess each time you tried to use them. Plus it would hurt like a bitch.
"Try not to bleed on my couch; I just had it steam-cleaned."

I used to have a Latin phrase book that included a section covering special occasions such as bank robberies. I wonder where that went....
That's not cheesy! That's Richard Lester!
Would you prefer I called it campy? Anyway I love that movie.
Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad te mittam Catapultam habeo magno saxi*
Not particularly useful in your situation, Ginger, but how about "Vos omnes cerebella a cameli intestina"?
- *I have not found the book, but Google Translate is my canis praecisae.
Tim Curry being evil is always worth a couple of bucks.
Thanks for the pictures, Kat and Teppy! I'm glad you found a house, Kat. I missed the pictures of the yard, but it sounds wonderful.
Teppy, the house is definitely swank, as is the dude out front. But it's the moon-over-water picture that gave me a sudden homesick pang. Our timeshare condo was right on the water, second floor, so a little elevated view. It was on an Outer Bank, and so was situated so that we got both sunrise and moonrise over the water. I miss that, a lot. You skip a stone on the water for me, would you?
Ginger, dude is full of himself. I'm sorry you have to deal with his nonsense.
Yay, Merlin the brave! Well, brav-er, anyway.
Also woot! on the new cars for deserving women!
I know there was more, but I forgot. Ooh--Suzi, it may have been Natter, but good for you on your belt test!
And E-O, thanks so much for the sunscreen rec--everything I've used in the last four years has just irritated my skin. I'm down to plain water, and a little plain Aveeno mixed with water for moisturizer when I direly need it.
