Well, the difficult dept member is apparently staying at my school and “opened his heart” to my division director about how all the mistakes I’ve made as his supervisor this year. Yeah. Good news: boss knows me well and has concluded that this is just a bad match and someone else will supervise him next year--bad news: this makes me feel like a total failure and definitely made me look bad to all of my bigger bosses.
I know it shouldn’t bother me so much, but it really does.

Pix, there isn't really a cure for that kind of concern. You feel what you feel. The guy is a special, delicate pillock. Of course, that knowledge doesn't really fix your worry.

If Teppy's migraine is truly a mirror of the multi-day migraine I had...she should be feeling fine today. So nice to have a day that didn't involve drugs and crawling in bed at crazy early hours...I hope the same can be said for Teppy.
I am used to the fact that no show in los angeles starts before 8:05, but it's now almost 8:20, and we're still waiting for all our patrons to finish using the one bathroom at this theatre. Sigh.

Well, you want an idealized version. But you don't really want StW. And that is an important distinction to try to make in your head. I don't care how nice he is, he's not what you are looking for in a relationship and you are clearly looking for a relationship and not just a way to pass some time. It's sad, but you don't mesh.
