I am full of ice cream, got Strix's e-mail, still have the fucking headache, might actually leave work in 20 minutes, and -- got a raise! We've been in such tight financial straits that I didn't expect that at all. I am stunned.

Okay. I am going to finish this shit and get out of here before my head goes splodey. (And then I get to go to Trader Joe's, the dry cleaner, go home and clean the bathroom, clean the kitchen, and pack so we can leave for vacation tomorrow, holy crap this would all be easier without a headache.)

Good news, bad news. My landlord (rented his house to me when he moved on his yacht) invited us to go cruising about with him tonight. I will go, but on top of my hobbling because of the foot I twisted my knee. I so hope Brendon doesn't have to carry me aboard. I've seen the vessel when it was parked at my dock before we moved in, but have never been inside. It is like 75' or something. Looking forward to the tour and the cruise.

I know I've missed a ton of stuff, but I totall cheered and booed appropriately in my head for each and every one as I've been catching up.

I don't live in the house that we are having the mortgage drama with anymore. We gutted our house and are renovating it for sale. We have been renting the house I live in for the last 2 years. We won't consider buying another house until the Delray house is sold. I know my landlord has been having his own battles with his mortgage company. Maybe he has invited us cruising to discuss that with us. He took a big mortgage on this house when he bought his yacht. He's a fun and delightful person so I am sure it will be an entertaining evening.

Also, I have been trying to talk DH into living on a boat since we met, so maybe tonight will help in my efforts. I suggested to DH that we ask landlord to switch up for a time. He can go back in the house and we'll live on the boat. Yeah, a girl can dream.

Ibuprofen is helping, methinks. I can straighten my arm without pain. I called my folks, but they were on the beach so they're calling me back. Dad asked if I was okay (due to the unusual time of call) so I just said I was home sick but fine.

Just woke up from a nap when coworker called to bring by my paycheck. It's kind of cold outside! For relative values of cold (77 degrees).
