My evening is now officially less exciting. Poor DH is just in too much pain from his poor back. We're gonna stay home and take care of the dude. He urged me to go on my own, but, eh, not that interested in going solo.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Dammit, migraine! Didn't acupuncture help you last time, Steph?
Scrappy, that's too bad.
Okay, remember when I was complaining that I hurt my arm holding an umbrella? I'm starting to think something else is going on here. It's getting worse, not better, and in the shower I just noticed a bruise starting almost in my armpit connecting to a red streak running down my arm. That area is very painfully tender, and I can't straighten my arm above my head. WTFF, for realz. Off to Dr. Google. Picked a good time to break up with StW, I did (still haven't heard back, btw).

It did, but this is the first migraine I've had in quite a while, plus we leave Friday morning for vacation, so I wouldn't have time to go to the acupuncturist even if she could fit me in tomorrow. I'm hoping this is just a one-off from the stress of the root canal and getting ready for vacation, and when it's gone, it's gone.
I just wish it were gone now.
I think the red streak sounds kind of serious, smonster.

That sounds like you got bitten by something, or had a mysterious puncture wound/scrape/etc. Red streak running down your arm is worrisome. I think that's a go-to-urgent-care symptom.
t edit Red streak x-post! We know our worrisome shit 'round these parts.
Strix, I missed what happened, but I'm sorry; nothing bad should ever happen to you, dammit.
Just got off the phone with doctor friend. I need to go in tomorrow. If I start feeling feverish, have numbness or tingling in my arm, shortness of breath, etc, I need to go in tonight. And she recommended I mark the borders with a sharpie. Whee!
Health ~ma, smonster, that sounds scary. Me, I'd be a weenie and go tonight anyway.
There's a small chance it's a blood clot - I've been using this e-cigarette, and so may have been getting *more* nicotine than when I smoked, and I wasn't thinking about the fact that nicotine is what doesn't play well with birth control. Um. Duh.
Well, at least StW isn't an ER doc, so little to no chance of running into him unless I got admitted. (I know. Silly thing to worry about right now)
