IOmeN, my bank needs some documents from the condo HOA to approve the loan. I send an email to the management company, and they send me a link to CondoCerts.com, which then wants to charge me $15-75 per document, AND a $10 delivery charge! Arggg. For all the docs they have, it's almost $300. One of which is the welcome packages for $35.

Something tells me, this is but the first unexpected expense that I think is a total rip off. :: sigh ::

I'm debating, should I order all of them? The notion being, what if insurance company or whatever wants one of the other documents, then I gotta wait for those to arrive AND pay another $10 delivery charge. Thoughts?

Totally common. I know for my condo assn, which is the most lackadaisical ever, I was told right up front during the buying process that you got one copy of condo assn rules, and if you ever needed another it would cost a hundred something or other. I mean, it's still a scam, but it's one they have honed to an art.

omnis, I would get only what you need and eat the $10 down the line if it ever comes up. Never has for me.
