YouTube tutorial on how to curl your hair with a sock. You cut the toe off of a sock, roll it up into a donut shape, pull your hair into a high ponytail, mist it with water, and then pull the ponytail through the sock and roll your hair into it. Then go to sleep. Supposedly in the morning, when you take your hair out of the sock bun, you'll have curls.

I have not taken my hair out of the sock bun yet, so I don't know the results. But it sounds pretty similar to rag curling, so I assume it would work.

My mom and dad's Scot, that I was just talking about is dead. It just happened. She ran out in the street after a squirrel while my dad walk talking to a neighbor at the end of their daily walk.

The car tried to stop, but Shadow was too fast. She died in the car on the way to the vet. She turned 5 last week. I can barelly type. My dad is 72 and I don't know if he will survive this. He blames himself.

ION- Maybe it's a bad thing Mom has TV in her new place (her old place had no over-the-air, and she was on too tight of budget for cable). She is watching a pledge drive for PBS with a retirement advisor Ed Slott. Anyone know of him? Now she's wanting to convert her IRA to a Roth IRA, because the taxes are low now, to save taxes later. I explained to her, given how much she makes from the IRA, she may pay no taxes. But I don't know these things. Handy that she has a daughter that is a tax preparer, and knows all about these things. :: sigh ::
