Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I've dropped off my cats for the vet numerous times, in fact it's usually been standard that the drop off is done w/o consult, and the consultation came at the end of the day when I came to pick my cat up, after tests had been run.

What they all said. I've used two vets in two states, plus the vet amyth used for Lu, all with dropoff and pickup. If my current vet doesn't have time for an appt. but it's something urgent, they'll have me drop the animal off and consult at the end of the day. I hope you find a better vet.

Also, I'm sorry about the job, that would shake anyone's confidence. But yeah, good stuff to know about yourself.

Steph! The stretch definitely helped! My hips felt much better today. Now if I can just figure out the knee thing...

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It was a shock because I hadn't received direct feedback I was so far behind.

What that says is that they're bad managers, not that you're a bad employee.

I'm back from my marathon day of transfusion. Thank your red blood cells for all they do for you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Thank you, red blood cells.

Kittenish is home with me. I think I will need to get her a new container for her ashes eventually, but she's home. My vet and the boarding facility were really wonderful. I think they miss her nearly as much as I do.

Dad started radiation today. The treatment seemed pretty okay for him. The scary memory side effects shouldn't show up for a couple of weeks. And I'm going back down for Father's Day weekend at the latest.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It's a beautiful thing. It's a bastard of a stretch, and the next day I was shocked to wake up with markedly less pain. Bless the internet and all of its knowledge.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

The Internet know everything. Unfortunately, that includes all the things that are wrong.

Unfortunately, that includes all the things that are wrong.

I was going to say "Bless the Internet, and all its contents," but then I realized how very much I *don't* mean that.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I was listening to a Nerdist podcast with Penn Jillette, and he was going on and on about how the untrammelled free speech of the internet was a purely wonderful thing, and my eyeballs did a triple somersault with a half twist.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Penn can be so sanctimonious sometimes. Truly insufferable.
