Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I've seen it both ways. I thought the 3D added some cool depth to the battle scenes, but I wouldn't say it's essential. If you don't mind 3D and generally enjoy it, go for it; otherwise 2D is fine.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

3D made some CGI scenes easier to see- in 2D those scenes are very, very dark. I saw it in 2D twice and 3D once, and I'm glad I saw it in 3D that one time, but I don't feel like I missed much with the 2D viewings.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've seen it in 3D thrice and not yet in 2D, so, I have nothing to add. Except their butts look really good in 3D.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Poor Ryan. Poor auxiliary frog. Poor cleaning-up parents.

I was inseparable from only one stuffed animal, a Smoky the Bear whom I called Bokie because of my S difficulties. He probably went through the wash more than 100 times in my first few years. He's still with me, although threadbare and patched.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

It was the first 3D AND IMAX movies I'd seen, and I thought it was great fun. But I don't have any other 3D movie views to compare to.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Eventually I will see The Avengers.

I babysat today for G who was wonderful when he mother was gone but a little terror when she was home. Essentially telling me he wanted to go home and crying when I didn't leave. It's hard not to take that personally.

Eh, I'm more a breast guy.

If I can see it with a group, I'll sway which ever way the group wants to go. But good to know it's perfectly fine in 2d. If I see it solo, 2d it will be.

Hmm. I wonder if your theater was doing the crappy thing that a couple of the big chain theaters in Boston are doing, namely not changing out the 3D lenses for 2D movies. It's supposed to make movies significantly darker looking. There were a couple of articles in the Globe complaining about it.

I did see it! It got up and went.

It's actually hanging out in the 7-11 parking lot right now, with some skater dudes.
