Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{{Cass}}} I am so so sorry. I'm glad you were with Kittenish at the end. You gave each other happy lives. And, I am so so sorry about your dad. All kinds of healing~ma to him.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

smonster, did you leave a bottle of merlot at our place? Don't worry, we won't drink it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

That's too much.

It is too much.

Tonight is hard.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, Cass, I'm so sorry. It is hard. You can totally text me if you need to, at any point.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I'm in the midsts of rewatching SNG. I'm up to start of season 4. Poor Wes. He's promoted to Ensign, but the red uniform looks big on him. I wonder if that was on pupose, to try and make him look more child like. In the mean time, Locutus has been created.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

We have a sick little boy. We got a call from childcare that he was complaining of feeling unwell and wasn't playing the way he normally does. When we picked him up he told me that his ear was sick. (Not hurting, apparently, but it felt sick.)

Right after we got home, before we'd even had time to take our shoes off, he threw up all over himself, the floor and his parents (I was holding him at the time). So I'm willing to believe him with the whole "feeling sick" thing.

Anyway, the fun part is that (yes, there's a fun part) last time he was sick, we had tremendous difficulty getting him to agree to take his medicine, as it tasted funny. This time around, he volunteered (indeed, insisted) to have some medicine. We'd been talking through the concept since last time, and when I was sick last week, he'd bring medicine to me so I'd feel better. (That part was just awesome.) He still thought it tasted funny, but got through it by alternating sips of the medicine and sips from his water cup. Learning!

Our chirpier boy is now safely ensconced in bed. (Fortunately, he didn't throw up over his regular bedtime froggie, but his auxiliary backup froggie.)
