I took a nap and wasn't sure where I was when I woke up. That was a terrible moment of realizing where I was and that Kittenish was gone and my dad is now a thousand miles away with tumors in his head. This is pretty much some of the worst stuff I can imagine. And it's happening. She's really gone. He's really sick.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, honey. Much strength.
Oh, honey. I am so, so sorry.
Oh, Cass I'm so sorry.
Oh, Cass. What a shitty pile of reality to wake up to.
I'm so sorry, Cass. Take care of yourself.
Oh honey, I am so, so sorry.
I'm so sorry, Cass. That's a lot to have to cope with.
So sorry, Cass. Much ~ma for your dad. Much peace to you.

Quite the Nature Channel we've had in here this weekend. All very interesting.

I talked to my father. This week he resumed radiation treatment. It went a LOT better. Apparently, it's SOP to also radiate the lymphnodes for 23-28 sessions. They 22 before the week off. The lymphnodes are close to the stuff from his operation 2 years ago (sorry, forget what he calls it), and was causing great pain and stomach discomfort. The doc feels the lymphnodes were radiated enough, so they aren't doing that anymore, just hitting the cancer. So this past week went a LOT better. He has two weeks of treatments left.
Also, when I called, my sister was over at his place. Hopefully that means progress on that front. But I'm guessing neither would speak candidly with the other sitting right there. But hey, the fact she is there is progress!
