Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We tried to disco nap, but instead off hitting snooze, I turned off the alarm by mistake. Woke up, ready to ge, feeling very rested, then realized it was 12:30. I thought that we could still go out, but I was overruled. :)

You are a good person, askye. I hope they can help.

BTW, you totally could have still gone out! Shit would have still been happening on Frenchmen! I hope you all had a good day yesterday though, unexpected end and all.

ION, I am awake, showered, and have eaten blueberry pancakes for breakfast (thanks, smonster, for the inspiration!) I worked up a sweat just getting dressed and putting on a load of laundry. Is gonna be a warm day today.

Waiting for word from our friends from Austin, one of whom we haven't seen for like a year plus. (but her husband was the guy who videotaped me around town during the early days of Mardi Gras a couple of months ago.)

I am still recovering from the last couple days of Vortex & Co. whirlwind, I tell you what.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I am not doing anything I am supposed to be doing. This is because I don't want to do the most important thing, and everything else is backed up behind that.

Maybe I'll go see Avengers again. I haven't seen it in 2D yet.

I joined Tumblr. I didn't really mean to, I just wanted to comment on a thing. I don't understand how to navigate through this person's tumblr blog thing. It doesn't seem to be linear. I want to be able to just click on Next and get the next thing! This means I'm old, doesn't it? Everyone else on tumblr seems to be a teenager. I was reading someone's review of Avengers and then she said she had to convince her dad to give her more money so she could see it again, and I almost wept.

I should be working.

It's a beautiful day. I should go outside.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I would weep.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want to be able to just click on Next and get the next thing!

You can do that on tumblr, unless someone's adopted a theme that doesn't work with your browser. I've stumbled on a couple of those, but it's like a 1% sort of a thing.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Indoor destruction starts at my house next week, as I have two very small rooms knocked together into a larger room with a closet that is larger than a refrigerator. I'm stoked, but also kind of nervous about one thing in particular.

My worry is the cat, and how he'll handle everything. I have an offer to relocate to my mom's house during the worst of things, and I'm wondering if that will be easier on him than dealing with the upset and chaos in the house. The poor little guy is nearly 14, and like most cats, he hates having his routine disrupted.
