You're right. He's evil. But you should see him naked. I mean really!

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Brenda, that's marvellous. I can't watch it right now, because it's making me cry, but it's marvellous.

Oh good, not just me.

Always Anti-fascist!

On a shallower note: Oh, as if, OkCupid, where are you finding all these Sheldons?! (One or two being literally asexual, which I don't mean to be mean about, but I do sort of feel that I've had the *not* having sex base covered well for many years while still keeping custody of the remote.) And I get that dating online confesses a certain Sheldon-ocity about my own person, especially at my age. Still, I don't think two Sheldons can date.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

brenda,

I liked the video! I was surprised to see how much solid dancing I saw. I am not sure what I expected, but they really got their dance on!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Oh good, not just me.

Or me. I started to cry in the office. Then I shared. Sorry for the FB/twitter bombing.

I just laugh at the idea of retirement. I've got some annuities with the total of a year and a half's income in them, but I'll be working as long as I possibly can.

Yeah, my 401(k) has about one year of income in it at this time, and I'll get $85/mo from the company pension which shut down back in 1996, but that's all I've got outside of Social Security, which I'm praying I'll still have in 20 years.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I have not opened my retirement statements for 3 years. I know it is avoidance of the worst sort, but I just can't bear it.

I'm really fortunate that my company puts in a lump sum of a certain percentage of my annual income every year, because I haven't put one penny of my own money into it. And with school going on, I won't be able to contribute anything out of my own pocket until after I get my MLS.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

brenda, love the video. Am about to facebook/twitter bomb, too.

Ack. I've been saving for like, seven years now, with a small but existent company match....and last I checked the 401k only had six months income in it (and that was before the latest crashes)

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

My IRA has maybe a year of living expenses. Maybe slightly more. I just try not to think about it.
