Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sticky~ma, Glam! I'm so excited for you and your family.

The builder is here trying to figure out where the leak is over the garage roof so that the new laundry room can finally be finished. I really need to wash clothes, but I'm not up for a laundromat today. Soon the choice is either going to be laundromat or buy more clothes.

Heh. The one I've noticed lately is the three-point back slide. Knocked back by a much greater power, our protagonist slides backwards in the three point position, still balanced.

The one I really got tired of was The Badass Neck Crack Before Fighting. That got tired.

Builder just left, and he thinks he found the leak this time (which he has said two times before). I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

None of you are Bruce Lee. It has gone past homage into cliche.

Tep, hope you are feeling better.

Tons of stick~ma for GC!!

ION- I was thinking in the shower, golly, with my crazy hours these past few days, I haven't talked with dad in all week. And as I got out of the shower, his GF called. Seems the side effects are *really* effecting him. And he has postponed this weeks treatment entirely! Which of course will get tacked on the end. But. The nurses are worried. The doctor says he's looking really pale. Like, too much so. And the only thing he has eaten in 48 hours or so, is yogurt, which the doctor said wasn't such a great idea, and to try and eat cereal at least. So, any extra strength ~ma for him would surely be appreciated. Or maybe an address for magic brownies in central florida?? I dunno.

Lots of ma to Tep and Pix and sj, and Nora, that's so infuriating, I don't know what to say.

So I'm thinking about taking the GRE. Except the last time I took it, I was in my early 20's, and I never took even so much as a practice test, let alone a prep course, and I scored really well, so I decided, "OK, I do rally well on standardized tests! Awesome!" Now, in my middle age, I realized, taking a few practice questions, that I have forgotten All The Math. All of it. How do I even get through the day? I guess my iPhone does everything for me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I am putting together the blog post formatting and publishing my interview with Seanan McGuire, a.k.a. Mira Grant today

Yay!

Sticky~ma, GC!

So who wants to help me choose a shore excursion in Nassau? The dolphin encounters are pretty expensive, but I think they're always in that $150 range, aren't they? So I'm never really going to find a cheaper way to hang out with a dolphin. Although who knows how much dolphin time one actually get in these things. Parasailing could be fun, but $90 for seven minutes seems excessive.

The more affordable option is snorkeling, but do I sail and snorkel, stand up paddle board and snorkel, or power snorkel? Anyone done these things?

I grew up in South Florida snorkeling and SCUBA diving. I would've loved the power snorkel option. The sail/snorkel option looks like it has many opportunities for lounging about.
