I mean, Jesus, I'm 40 years old, I've been seeing this doctor for literally almost 20 years (egad), and I've had
yeast infections
before. I fucking well recognize them by now. I am not a moron, which I would have thought would have been evident when I explained to the gatekeeper that I already was treated for the various alternatives to
yeast infections.
Which brings us back to just needing a bigger hammer for the original nail.
I honestly think if I just had called and said, "Hi, I have
a yeast infection,
can you call in Diflucan?" the gatekeeper would have done it. Bah.

You know, that might be true. I'm realizing that sometimes, the more I explain, the more the other person tunes me out as a "babbling female" and the less likely they are to help me out. My natural tendency is to provide the whole story, thinking that knowing the background will help the other person understand what's going on. But many people seem to just "fade out" after a couple sentences, and any further information annoys them. I've learned this from my boss, in fact.
Dear supermoon, if it had not been raining here, I'm sure you would have been amazing. However the cramps you brought with you can die in a fire or go to Sara Palin's house or something jeebus these suck No love, me.
I was promised a menopause. Where's my menopause? 35 years of this is long enough
smonster, I still haven't found my One True Sunblock, so I have no good suggestions for you. But if I find a good one, I'll let you know.
And because it deserves its own post: yay sumi!
Good foot update. Got sutures removed and x-rays. Embarrassingly lightweight again, doc even made nurse use stinky anti-fainting stuff cause she thought I was going down. But the foot is doing fabulously well. Don't need cast and don't even have to use big clunky boot unless I have too much trouble getting around with surgical shoe next 4 weeks. I'm not supposed to do any non-essential walking, but can work, shop, cook, as much as I can comfortably manage. Which is damn little at the moment, but I have walked around the house a bit. And I get to wash the foot Friday if I want and just wear a compression sleeve and toss the bandage. More x-rays in 4weeks. I of course texted the boys the x-rays of my toe screws.
Woot! Any health~ma y'all were sending this way is released to go where needed. It 'twas good stuff.
