Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

YAY Avengers!

I changed my mind about wanting to wait until next week to see it and Will and I were near our favorite theater - and it was packed. So we're back to watching it next weekend. There will be plenty people then, I just didn't want to deal with the crowd for some reason. And we went to an antique and craft show that was disappointing. The number of vendors was way down from last year. I saw some things I wanted but couldn't justify buying. What I really wanted was soap and some lotion but no one was selling and there were several non crafty type people. I saw 2 booths for knife sets.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We have a chicken pot pie which we bought from the market and just baked in the oven, a salad with TCG made, a bottle of white wine, and a DVD to make up for the lack of TV.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Avengers, whoo hoo! StW and I are going tomorrow.

That sounds lovely. Unpacking is such a bitch; I'm still not quite done, and it's been almost a year. Just gotta fix that bookshelf...

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am not seeing Avengers until next week. Sad.

It is the closest thing we have had to a normal meal in what feels like forever. I'm dying to have the whole kitchen unpacked and make a big bolognese in my new kitchen and have a totally home cooked meal.

ETA: We're watching S1 of the UK's Being Human. So far so good.

I am not seeing Avengers until next week. Sad.

I'm pretty sure it's going to play all summer.

damn. Vortex is on the job.

She always is, she rocks like that.

I walked to the library and some breakfast, but did not go to the 5K, will have to find a different May one to do. Then to return some shirts that didn't fit, and then Target, and the fabric store to buy stuff to make pockets. Once I figure out how to use my sewing machine (I have lessons set up starting in a couple weeks). Tomorrow I fly to Ohio.

Thrive to spite them

Oh and in teenagers can be stupid news - Will's youngest son A just got back from a school trip to Germany (sponsored by the German club) and almost all of the students are now facing 10 days suspensions and a few lost scholarships. Even though the drinking age for beer is 16 yrs old none of them were supposed to drink. That didn't stop them from going and getting drunk several nights. I'm not sure how many nights or what the supervision was like but I guess the last night they were there was the heaviest drinking.

The kids got caught because they were all puking on the plane trip back home.

The first week they stayed with host families but the second week they were traveling and staying at hotels. I guess the adults thought the kids were in their rooms when they had really had slipped out.
