Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

brillig

I think most banks just ignore postdating and cash it when they get it.

At MDA clinic for yearly check up. Waiting in the room for the doctor. 40 minutes now. Why do we schedule appointments if they can't come close to holding them? If I was 45 min late for a meeting... Ugg. Hate doctors.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We deposit our rent directly into our landlord's bank account--yeah, we have the account number and everything. But then he's a very good friend and we're occupying his house while he works a couple of hundred miles away.

I just write a check to Tim. He always asks for 2 forms of ID, so I flash my boobies at him. Every month.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Teppy + Tim = ADORABLE (in a kinky yet entirely wholesome way)

We really are. When I found someone as weird as me, I had to keep him.

Ha! Love it

ION- breathing specialist did the normal battery of tests. Does she not understand? Repeatedly yelling "BLOW!" does not magically make additional air appear in my lungs to exhale. Please stop yelling.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

o_a,

one time I left a doctor's office because they kept me waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes.

I asked to reschedule right then and I registered my disappointment at having to wait so long.

If I had been really ill, I guess I would have waited it out but luckily that wasn't the case.

Yeah, I believe banks in the US will just cash it even if it's postdated, and then your money is gone and you're screwed.

I electronically pay my bills, which is easier and quicker than having a stamp, but still doesn't prevent me from paying them late sometimes. I should just pay as I get them, and tell the e-bill-pay not to do it until closer to the due date, but...

Oddly, the guy who came and did the drywalling in my garage several weeks ago still hasn't billed me. He told me day of that he'd have his wife/business partner send an invoice...no word since. A little weird, but he did seem kinda like that, to me. I want to know what the total price ends up being though--he quoted me a range, and at the end of the day said about how much (lower than the quote, because it didn't end up being too bad), but...

Yeah, I'm getting close to that. It's not like I need it. It's more of a formality. It's not like any new treatment/cure for my disease has come along. It's now 65 minutes. In the exam room. The breathing specialist did 10 minutes of tests. That was an hour ago. Some lady from MDA just introduced herself, asking if I had any questions of what MDA can offer. After 40 years, um. Not really.
