Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Plus? It keeps the vampires away...

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Steph, that is awesome about the dress!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am 12. The garilic tampon thing, which I had not heard of prior to reading this above, is cracking me up.

smonster, seriously? this works?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

So, I am not sure if this is related to your issue, but the yeast infection treatments that are 1-time instead of the standard 7-day, burned me like a motherfucker the one and only time I did it.

Yeah, the last time I had this issue this happened to me. It was awful.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We think one of the teenagers that live upstairs in the old place is having a baby. There was a blue balloon tied to the front of the house when we went to go get the rest of our stuff today. They are probably taking over our apartment downstairs after we move, which is why my former landlord was able to rent it without showing it. My former landlord is a moron. They already don't pay their rent and now he is going to rent them 2 apartments? So glad to be out of there!

Thrive to spite them

smonster, seriously? this works?

Not smonster, but yeah it works for me. You have to carefully peel a clove of garlic (so it doesn't get nicked), wrap it in a cheese cloth, tie it up with some plain dental floss. I just do this over night and remove it in the morning.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The prescription anti-yeast pill is Diflucan. I got it once and it worked quite well. The gyno who prescribed it to me said it worked because "it likes lady parts, so it goes right there." I don't know how true this is, but it was charming. I imagined tiny Diflucan warriors swarming to the defense of the lady parts. I prefer them to garlic warriors, but garlic would still be better than a raging yeast infection.

sj, so glad you're out of there and away from the moron landlord and the horrible neighbors! Owning a house can be a pain, but it beats having no control over your environment all the way.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

sj, that's madness.

smonster, seriously? this works?

It definitely helps. I was using it for my last YI since I was broke, but StW took pity on me and got me a Diflucan prescription. I hate the creams and stuff.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I wonder if I called my OB/GYN, if she would call in an Rx for Diflucan, or if she would make me come to the office. Hmm. Well, it can't hurt to call, right?

Our wings are not tired.

Call, Steph. My experience has been that my doctors accepted that I could be trusted to self diagnose a yeast infection and wasn't planning on selling the treatment on the street corner.
