Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, wow, mfnlaw, I'm glad you got the results back, but how hard that there was just no reason behind it.

Liese, I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. FWIW, you do a fine job of being there emotionally for people. I'm eternally grateful for your presence in my life this last year or so.

Thanks. And thanks. You know I think the world of you. Oh! That reminds me! I still owe you an accounting of who knitted/crocheted your blanket! Let me check on something and I'll see if I can post it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

(((Maria))) I hope this brings some closure for you.

Is anyone a size 12 or 14? I'm currently cleaning out a closet of gently used or never worn clothes that do not fit.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Gentle warm thoughts surrounding you like a blanket or a hug, or both as you wish, Maria.

Our wings are not tired

A friend from high school just posted this on FB. I went to a very conservative Christian high school. I remember being interviewed by more than one father that could have written this article. I would have failed on #8, and #4 is another fun but of patriarchy. Things like this just boggle my mind.

Yay Baby Rose!

I accidentally left a load of laundry in the washer from Monday night til I got home and looked this morning. It smells kinda icky--I just re-ran it, but does anyone have a great suggestion about things to add/do/make it smell awesome, other than "detergent"?

Our wings are not tired.

As a parent, and former teen, I know full well the kind of rebellion that type of parenting can cause. Wow.

{{Maria}} I'm sorry that you keep getting kicked. Loving peaceful thoughts sent your way.

White vinegar. I'm not sure how much, but google (or probably another Buffista) will know.

ND, WOW. That's just freaky, especially the comments. And while some of it is more "gosh, that's going to make your daughter rebel like whoah", some of it is "So, really you're just trying to not get her to date AT ALL, eh?" You want some guy, before he's even DATING your daughter, but when he first asks her out, to agree to put tracking software on his computer?!? I mean, go ahead and do that to your daughter's computer if you want (I don't agree, and think it's a bad plan but I get it), but...no.

(And that's ignoring the whole "your pastor is a woman, go to hell")

I was going to say vinegar too.
