Yes, today was very Bronteish weather wise. We just had a really wonderful dinner at the inn we're staying at and talked with some locals and I think I am almost warmed up from the wind and rain. It really has been a nice day. Tomorrow, Scotland!
Yay, Vortex! You'll be within an hour and a half of us and Victor and thessaly as well. We'll have to plan something after you're settled in.
Windsparrow, yay for surprise day off, even if you had to go to work to find out about it.

And second corset arrived yesterday! THANK YOU! I didn't try it on last night because I'd eaten two bowls of chili. YUM. But BLOAT.
Guys. I tried on a pair of my sister's size 12 jeans a couple of weeks ago on a whim, and...they fit. Were loose in the thighs. The fit was wrong -- camel-toe -- but the waist was good, no muffin top, and the thighs were a little loose. They...fit.
I haven't fit into a size 12 since maybe high school. Wow.
Getting excited for trip and event!!! Leave early Thursday morning!

Woo, it's gotten crazy windy and dark here.
Came home to find my landlord's workers (contractors is too formal a term, really) grabbing electricity off of my box. They're working on the other side. Called him immediately, he says he'll compensate me for it. Sure you will, a-hole.
Why yes, I am in basically the same mood as yesterday, why do you ask? Apparently my talk this morning did not sink in. I think laser eyes may be called for.
