Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Apparently they already have an even number of boys, so MAYBE I will end up with my own room! Or they will have to recruit some loser off the street to room with me. Or they will put me with a hot Indian geek girl.

One annoying thing is that I found a decent red-eye to Miami, but my options for a flight home were limited, so even though the ship is supposed to get in at 8 in the morning, I'm stuck in Miami till 4:30 and won't get home till after midnight. ADVENTURE! Also, three-hour layover in Atlanta both ways. Hey, Ginger, want to keep me company and talk about zombies or whatever?

That reminds me - in the bookstore I saw a bookmark that had the words "zombies are crap at knitting" with an appropriate illustration.

May 28 would be the day I'll need someone to hang out with. I'll get in May 25 around 11ish, but I need to be at the dock by 2, so that'll be fine.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

(Might I here plead with everyone for links, if you post your pics on FB? I love to check them out, am eager for pictorial updates on all mah Buffistas, and will happily click on links. But FB is not part of my online routine, so I don't go trolling for any new photos you might have put up there. Links are fabulously appreciated, thanks!)

Beverly, did you ever see my wedding photos? I think I only ever posted them on facebook. Here is a link to the facebook album.

Thanks everyone for the moving support.

Our wings are not tired.

We can do May 28 if you decide to cruise. South Beach is close to the port.

The podiatrist wrote back to me. She said pain worse than labor the first 3-7 days is normal. So long as the toes are pink it is all ok. It is better now than earlier today so I have decided that it is past the worst. This better make my foot marathon capable!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh my god oh my god oh my god, I think I need this dress: [link]

I have a wedding to go to in May. It's not a formal evening wedding, so that dress should work, right?

Would white shoes be okay? I would hate to try to match that blue. (I don't own white shoes, but I can remedy that.)

That dress should score major points with Tim. Perhaps it will make up for a winter of wearing yoga pants every damn moment I'm not at work.
