Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay potential babies! Many good wishes for success, Glamcookie.
Yay for Andi and Daniel! and yay for Buffista sprog-to-be!
Also, I spotted this and though of billytea.
Tomorrow is moving day. We're hoping to be in this house for at least 10 years. I think I'm going to start a savings fund now to pay someone to pack up all of our stuff next time. I have no idea how the rest of this is going to get done. I have to go beg for boxes again today.
Yay for World Domination. A lucky child to be have such quality parents.
Well, it wasn't like the doctor didn't warn me, but the foot really hurts. I have been in bed with the foot elevated for almost 48 hours except for hopping to the potty. It feels sledgehammered. The tie for worst is when I have to put it down and gravity sends fluid and pain soaring to foot vs random toe twitching. I think the oxy is making me itch all over so I am switching back to the yellow pills. Don't know what they are because they are in other room. Granted I am a big baby, but apparently foot surgery is one of the ouchy things. Wah.
To complain more, I'm too loopy to read without getting a headache.
So back to happy talk of impending wedding, moving, baby making. Woot!
sj, sorry moving is so much work, but I can't wait to read you are away from he rotten neighbors.
And that was a bunch of effort. If I didn't catch all the typos it is good enough.
Thanks, Laura. I'm sorry to be so complainy. I'm just frustrated and feeling kind of useless. I hope the pain in your foot eases up soon. Did the doctor tell you when you could expect it to start feeling better?
It's taken two years for my shoulder to come back to something close to normal, ie, I can sleep on that side without my arm going numb and it only aches when I use it in a weird direction or when the weather is shifting (like today).
Not complainy sj. Moving is a huge hassle.
She told me straight up it was going to hurt and gave me a ton of painkillers. I'm sleeping as much as possible and keeping it elevated. She said it could be 6-12 months before all the swelling is gone. Blah.
Poor Laura. Take the drugs, sweetheart.
Hang in there Laura. Recovery from surgery is never a lot of fun.
Congrats to Daniel and Windsparrow!
